Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp were reunited on stage Down Under.
The rocker was performing in Brisbane, Australia on Friday night and surprising the audience, he only went and brought out Johnny Depp.
The two have performed together before on a number of occasions including at the 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards in Los Angeles, and last year on Halloween.
Clearly they enjoyed playing together, as the Pirates of the Caribbean star was back for more. Picking up a guitar and going for it on stage. They didn’t give a rendition of their Carly Simon’s You’re So Vain cover.
Johnny is currently Down Under to film the latest instalment of the Disney franchise, and the newly wed made the most of a night out by hitting the stage.
A photo of Johnny wearing a pirate-style bandana like his Pirates of the Caribbean character Captain Jack Sparrow, appeared of the actor from the Tivoli venue.
Reports suggest that he hit the stage as Manson neared the end of his gig and joined the star for his song, The Beautiful People.
In 2012, Depp played the electric guitar while Manson sang the same track and also ‘Sweet Dress (Are Made of This)’.
While Johnny had kept a low profile, Manson gave him a shout out.
“If you don’t recognize my personal friend… my personal savior, my personal guitar hero… Johnny Depp,” he said, according to E!.

Production has begun on location in Australia on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth film in the blockbuster franchise inspired by the classic Disney Parks attraction. Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow and will be joined by Javier Bardem, Kayla Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites, and Golshifteh Farahani. Geoffrey Rush, Kevin R. McNally, and Stephen Graham are rejoining the action as Barbossa, Gibbs, and Scrum, respectively.
Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea… including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and written by Jeff Nathanson. The executive producers are Chad Oman, Joe Caracciolo, Jr. and Brigham Taylor.
Legendary rocker Alice Cooper will play the Rock In Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil this September under the HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES banner with a band that includes AEROSMITH‘s Joe Perry and actor Johnny Depp.
Although the exact date for HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES‘ performance hasn’t yet been announced, the band will make its debut on the same night as QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and SYSTEM OF A DOWN are scheduled to appear.
The sixth Brazilian edition of Rock In Rio will take place September 18-20 and September 24-27.
Cooper‘s covers album featuring songs that were originally written and recorded by THE DOORS, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon and THE WHO — members of the so-called “Hollywood Vampires” of the early and mid-’70s — is tentatively due this fall. The CD will include “four or five new songs,” which the legendary rocker wrote specifically for the new effort. He told VH1 Radio Network‘s Dave Basner: “We decided that in order to set up the ‘Hollywood Vampires’ thing, you had to kind of tell the story, and you had to write songs that were going to set up the story, and then get into the covers. So we had fun sitting there writing these new songs around it. So it’s going to be quite a package, this thing is.”
Back in 2013, Cooper said about the upcoming CD: “We do a thing in our show, which is a tribute to ‘Hollywood Vampires,’ my drinking club. And it was Keith Moon, John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Micky Dolenz — a very eclectic bunch of drunks. Half of them are dead, so we do four songs in the show in tribute to them. We do ‘Break On Through’, ‘Revolution’, ‘My Generation’ and Jimi Hendrix‘s ‘Foxey Lady’. I just kind of said, ‘We’ve never done a covers album, let’s think about that.’
